Steel City’s current Unholy Philanthropic venture is an assembly and face to face distribution of "Baphomet Bags" Pittsburgh is currently facing a notable increase in homelessness.* We are working to help our unhoused neighbors by collecting a variety of sustainable essentials and distributing them directly to those in need.
Working alongside local small businesses and our siblings in Satan across the globe, we hope to bring a better quality of life to and connect with our unhoused population.
Our drive will be running from now through July with distribution occurring throughout the rest of the summer.
Our focus will be on items that are lightweight, collapsible, and reusable. Oftentimes people have to carry around all of their belongings with them at once. This will help ease the burden both physically and of having to find the same resource over and over again in some cases.
Please see our Amazon wishlist to donate online or to see ideas of what we are looking for. For those in the Pittsburgh area we have two collection points for in person donations for items you may already have.
Partnered with us are Grim Wizard located at 1206 Arlington Ave and Studio 42 in Beaver Falls. You will find donation receptacles at both of these amazing small businesses.
We would ask that any donations of food or clothing donations please be directed towards The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank or shelters in need.
Aside from the Amazon wish list linked below, some examples of useful items to donate are:
Hygiene supplies such as deodorant, razors, travel-size shampoo and conditioner, dry shampoo,menstrual supplies, condoms, toothbrushes and paste, mouth wash, etc.
New or gently used makeup, new or gently used bras, new undergarments and socks.
Pet items such as collapsible food and water bowls, dog sweaters, medicine and treats.
Small luxury items such as paperback books, lotion, etc.
